| Career Accomplishments | She began practicing in Springfield and Macomb, Illinois in 1994 after completing a successful corneal fellowship at the prestigious Harvard Medical School's Mass. Eye and Ear Infirmary. She trained residents in all aspects of ophthalmic surgery while at Southern Illinois Univ. and maintained a busy practice. She brought corneal transplantation for the first time to Macomb in 1994. She served as Chairman, Div. of Ophthalmology, Dept. of Surgery at Southern Illinois Univ. School of Medicine, 1998. She continues to offer her patients comprehensive ophthalmology from pediatric eye exams and strabismus surgery, laser surgery for diabetes and glaucoma, cataract and glaucoma surgery, corneal transplantation and anterior segment reconstruction, along with routine eye care |
