BiographyJohn joined the FDS team in July 2008 from Astraeus Airline, a UK Charter airline where he was Safety Manager. His aviation career started in 1957 in the RAF where he became a Navigator flying a range of transport aircraft including Britannia, C130 and VC10. Since leaving the RAF in 1984 he has worked in flight-related ground operational and safety positions in civil aviation with SITA, Caledonian Airways, Virgin Atlantic Airways, IATA and Astraeus. Prior to joining FDS he was Chairman of the FDS User Group since 2006. John now works for the company in a consultancy role.
