| Biography | I was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1983. I moved to Arizona when I was a small child. I had a son before I finished high school but did not let that stop me from pursuing a future for us. I graduated East Islip High School in 2001 as the Salutatorian even with all the challenges of being a single teen mother. I got my Associate degree from Mesa Community College in 2006. I met my husband Jose Manuel Garcia Lopez in 2005. He was born in a very small, poor town in Bocaja, Hidalgo, Mexico. He worked and went to school throughout his childhood. He wanted a better life for himself and his parents so he immigrated to the U.S. in 2001. He started working as a subcontractor for other companies. He learned English very quickly and graduated from Tempe Accelerated High School in 2004 as Valedictorian despite his challenges as an English learner. After we met, I started handling all of the paperwork and learning about roofing. We got married in 2006. Shortly after we had 2 children. Since we were working for other companies, it was difficult to spend time with our children. We thought about our family and future and decided the only way we were going to be able to spend the time we would like with our children and pursuing our interests would be to start our own roofing business where we could set our own schedule. We went through the process and got our roofing license and have been running our company since 2012. We are a small family-owned and operated company. We have 4 roofing crews with 13+ years of experience. We are known for our excellent customer service and quality work and are very highly rated by our customers. We strive to provide quality work and customer service to every customer. |
