Biography | Dr. J. Michael Randle earned his medical degree at the Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara in 1982, and completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Systems in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Randle is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Academy of Spine Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Texas Neurological Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association Political Action Committee, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Nacogdoches San Augustine County Medical Society, and the Southern Medical Association. He currently serves as Chief of Staff of Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches, Texas and is a member of the governing board of both Nacogdoches Medical Center and Surgery Center of Nacogdoches. Dr. Randle has a lifetime history of service to his community and our country, serving as a hospital corpsman in the United States Navy from 1969-1973. In addition, he served on the Board of Directors for the Nacogdoches Boys and Girls Club, is a Member of the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce as well as the Angelina/Lufkin Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Steering Committee and is the neurosurgical consultant for Stephen F. Austin State University’s Sports Medicine Facility. Dr. Randle is also a respected lecturer and presenter, speaking on topics such as head injury, spinal cord injuries, and sports-related injuries in addition to others. Serving as the Program Director for Impact-Head Injury at Stephen F. Austin State University and the Chairman of the Physician’s Advisory Council for Intra-Op Monitoring, Inc., Dr. Randle is committed to the highest standards in neurophysiology as he promotes education and dissemination of knowledge in the field of intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring. |
