Career Accomplishments | Shawn Lewis is a senior operations and general management executive with more than 20 years of physical security/emergency management experience. Managing organizations ranging from 80 to 1000 employees and with $5M to $30M budgets, he has skillfully managed operations in excess of 22,000 weekly hours. As U.S. Department of DefenseU.S. Department of the Army contractor with G4S Government Solutions, Shawn has been a Director of Emergency Services for the Department of Army Contract Security Police Force, Physical Security, Fire and Emergency Services, and Emergency Management program, maintaining 9,280 weekly hours at 3 Army Bases located in Virginia and Missouri and at U.S. Marine Corps headquarters, and leading 388 employees, including 291 Special Police Officers, Top Secret and Secret cleared. He also worked with Secret Service on many presidential missions, providing Executive Protection to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Army Chief of Staff, Air Force Chief of Staff, Vice Chiefs and their families, as well as senior government officials, domestic and international, and the President and Vice President of the U.S. Shawn also planned and implemented the annual Antiterrorism Exercise with CBRNE events and was in charge of the Emergency Operations Command Center (EOC) and Tactical Operations Center (TOC). With Chenega Security & Protection Services, Shawn led a $6.5M Dept. of Army Contract Security Force at Fort Belvoir, VA, and coordinated the 160-hour mandated training in the National Capital Region for Department of Army Police Civilians, Military Police, and Contractor Security staff at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Fort Belvoir, Fort Myer, Fort McNair and Henderson Hall. With Vance International, Shawn served as Deputy Project Manager for a $6.5M Dept. of Army Contract Security Force at Fort Gordon, GA, successfully recruiting 230 employees and having them trained and uniformed within 60 days at full performance. Mr. Lewis has also served as Director of Operations for the corporate headquarters of Norred & Associates security services in Atlanta, and as Client Service Coordinator/Business Development for Allied Security, Norcross, GA. He has also been an Audit Analyst for Aarons Rents, Atlanta, identifying avenues of potential fraud among more than $200M in inventory. Most recently, Shawn was Branch Manager in Atlanta for GardaWorld Cash Services, providing banking services to more than 2500 customers and overseeing a staff of 100 employees. Prior to that, he was General Manager of Manning & Associates Security, Atlanta, directing all corporate headquarters operations and supervising a staff of 100 employees.
