A significant project he worked on was the electrostatic triode getter-ion Electro-Ion Pump. At the 1999 National Symposium of the American Vacuum Society (AVS), he delivered an invited talk of an overview of the Stabil-Ion Gauge for the 6 years since its introduction into the marketplace. He is listed on 5 patents on ionization gauges and has participated in recent years on AVS's Committee on Recommended Practices for Ionization Gauge Calibration |
