Career Accomplishments | Author of Cyprus, the United Nations, and the Quest for Unity. This book grew out of a paper on the study of Peacekeeping at the United Nations while a student at Drew University. Traveled to Cyprus and interviewed prominent politicians and authors. Researched documents from the University of Cyprus, Centre of Cultural Heritage in Nicosia, Cyprus and National Archives of the United Kingdom, London. The textbook compares two United Nations Peacekeeping Forces, UNEF II in the Sinai and UNFICYP in Cyprus, discusses the Kofi Annan Peace Plan, describes the accession of Cyprus to the European Union and reveals current efforts to resolve the political problem in Cyprus.
