Career Accomplishments | In 1969 I was appointed Executive Chef of the Tunis Hilton, at the time I was the youngest Executive Chef at Hilton International; From 1980 to 1984 I established the first Chef development program in the Middle East and East Africa; From 1980 to 2000 I served for 20 years on the Conseil Magistral of the International Gourmet Association the Chaine des Rotisseurs; In 2000 I was elected as the only non-French President of the Chaine des Rotisseurs; From 1993 to 1997 won with Westin Hotels the JD Powers Award for the best corporate Food & Beverage Operation in the upscale hotel section; Since 1996 the International Food & Beverage Forum has distributed 167 scholarships to young hospitality students. |
