"I've always had compassion for the Military because of the tremendous sacrifices they make," she says, "and I want to gladly give back to the Military so getting my MRP certification always had compassion for the lows me to have the knowledge to assist all service members, including the disabled." Karolina moved to Kentucky in 1996 because she discovered that the University of Kentucky offered a great in-state tuition, "I love the mild winters compared to long cold winters in Minnesota, I absolutely love living in Kentucky, and call it my Home Sweet Home". "I am a very proud mom," she says, "I'm blessed and grateful to have three beautiful, successful grown children Alexander, Jovan and Sofia. My sons are UK graduates and my daughter is a Georgetown graduate. My kids have always been my courage, inspiration and true joy in life. I am also very happily married to a wonderful Kentuckian man!" Karolina attends Southland Christian Church which is the sponsor of the Jessamine Refuge Clinic in which Karolina has often volunteered. "This is a great and much needed clinic," she says, "because they provide healthcare for those without insurance." Karolina is a sponsor of the Christian Radio Station K-LOVE, she is so grateful for the opportunity since it reaches many people who may be going through a very difficult time. Karolina was recognized by the National Association of Professional Women as the 'Woman of the Year' in 2010 and 2011, due to her demonstrated excellence and dedication within her profession. The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) defines success as "owning your own power." Karolina has been very successful in all areas of her life and is one of the most trusted realtors in Kentucky. She says, "aside from being a beautiful place to raise children, Kentucky is a 'hidden gem.' In fact, a Southern Living magazine listed three Kentucky attractions - Mammoth Cave, the Cumberland Falls Moonbow and the Red River Gorge as the Seven Wonders of the South!" The closest Military Base to Karolina is the Blue Grass Army Depot which is the Department of Defense's primary center for surveillance and for deploying units and homeland defense forces.
