Career Accomplishments | Dr. Taylor became the first Coppin faculty member to receive the acclaimed USM Regents Faculty Award for Excellence in Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity. The University System of Maryland (USM) Board of Regents, a group appointed by the governor to regulate policies, academics, and finances of the system, presented their highest honor to Dr. Taylor on April 10th, 2009, at a ceremony held at University of Maryland, Baltimore County, MD. His knowledge and expertise in the areas of research and special education are both locally and nationally renowned. Additionally, he has directed several large federal grants in the area of special education and has conducted numerous workshops in research and special education. |
