Career Accomplishments | Dr. Romankiw started the Scout movement for boys and girls in the Ukraine after Ukraine gained independence in 1991. The Scout organization is raising new Western oriented citizens to integrate into the Western world. As Chief Scout, Dr. Romankiw is actively working not only to bring the Ukrainian youth in the world of Scouting traditions of God and country, help to others, and obeying Scout laws and leadership, but is engaged in fundraising to support Scouts in Ukraine via the Plast Conference, Inc.-Chief Scout Fund, a USA nonprofit, tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization whose address is: P.O.
