About LeeAnne MacLeod-Archer

LeeAnne MacLeod-Archer is a Partner in the law firm of LaFosse MacLeod, Barristers and Solicitors. Her area of practice is Civil and Commercial Litigation, Insurance Defense and Family Law. Ms. MacLeod-Archer received a Bachelor's Degree with Honors at St. Francis Xavier University and a J.D. at Dalhousie University Law School. She began her career with the firm of Stewart McKelvey Stirling Scales, practicing with their litigation group for nine years and in 2002 she partnered with her colleague Guy LaFosse in opening the firm LaFosse MacLeod. Ms. MacLeod-Archer is in under Insurance and Personal Injury Litigation. She has prosecuted child protection cases for the Children's Aid Society of Cape Breton-Victoria for over 15 years. Ms. MacLeod-Archer is a member of the Cape Breton Barristers Society, the Nova Scotia Barristers Society, the Canadian Association of University Solicitors, the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia Board of Governors and the Nova Scotia Insurance Women's Association. She is involved in community service and has served on numerous volunteer boards including the Sydney Sunrise Rotary Club where she served as President.
