Work History	She moved to Karachi, Pakistan in 1958 with husband (teacher, Karachi Medical School) and 4 children, and began teaching science in the Karachi American School. Beginning the next school year, and until the family returned to the U.S., she taught science at the Trinity Methodist Girls' High School. After returning to Indiana, they moved to Nashville, TN for Dr. Bernstorf to teach at Meharry Medical College; she and a neighbor started a Montessori Primary School in a ground floor basement; in a few years she purchased the land and enlarged the school, Montessori Centre, for 3 to 6 year olds.
