Career AccomplishmentsDerwin Ray Beasley is a Labor Law Specialist and Manager of Dispute Resolution Teams for the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Beasley received a Master’s degree in Governmental Labor Law from George Washington University. He has a USDA graduate degree in Advance Management, as well as a host of other degrees and has completed training in numerous subject matters including Comprehensive Mediation training, Conducting Internal Investigations training, Federal EEOC Hearings training, and National Arbitration Advocacy Certified training. He is the author of several publications including Modified Article 16 (Disciplinary Action) and Modified Article 8 (Overtime) NALC. Mr. Beasley’s expertise lies in litigation, negotiation, contracts, dispute resolution, and teaching. He began practicing law at the age of 21 and in 1997 successfully litigated 50 cases. Mr. Beasley has been a City Letter Carrier, a Union Steward, Lead Local Business Agent, District Labor Relations Specialist, Labor Relations Manager, Human Resources Manager, and a Regional Labor Law Specialist. He is the recipient of numerous awards including District Manager Award from the Houston District and the Spot Award from the Southwest area. He is a Lifetime Member of Cambridge Who’s Who, a Professional of the Year in Labor Law and is in the Hall of Fame of Cambridge University. Mr. Beasley has been named Man of the Year by the American Biographical Institute and has earned the Service Pin Award in honor of 35 years of service to the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Beasley is a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers Union, the American Postal Workers Union, the National Rural Carriers Union, the Mail Handlers Union, the National Postmaster Association, and is the CEO and Owner of Beasley World Champion Cutting Horse Ranch and Hay Farm. In his leisure time, Mr. Beasley enjoys riding and competing his Cutting Horses including his World Champion Cutting Horse and has earned a 3 time High Point Champion.
