Career AccomplishmentsAssumed Presidency of EPRI in August 1996 after serving as EPRI's Executive VP and COO; Led the electricity enterprise-wide collaborative development of the landmark Electricity Technology Roadmap and the Electricity Sector Framework for the Future; Before joining EPRI, Mr. Yeager was the Director of Energy R&D Planning for the EPA Office of Research and prior to that he was with the MITRE Corp. as Associate Head of the Environmental Systems Dept. He was also a Distinguished Graduate of the Air Force Nuclear Research Officer's Program while serving 7 years active duty with the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC)
Work HistoryRetired from his position as President and CEO of Electric Power Research Institute, 2004; Has served as Executive Director of the nonprofit Galvin Electricity Initiative, in 2011 became Vice Chair; Has chaired the World Energy Council study on Energy and Climate Change and is a convening lead author for the Global Energy Assessment; Board Member, Energy Connect Corp until 2011
